Anytime you come across a business that bears a person's name, you assume that at some point, there was a real human being associated with it - like Mr. Christie; Aunt Jemima; Fig Newton. Well, Earls is no exception, meaning there actually is an Earl…or two of them, to be exact: Buster Earl Fuller and his son, Stanley Earl Fuller. Those of us who work at earls can assure you that they're real people and that they're very much alive. Some might even say feisty. In fact, Stan signs our paycheques, which is the single most important function of a President. And so, Earls is a family business based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, which was founded in 1982, and has grown to well over fifty restaurants in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Arizona and Colorado. By the time you read this, we'll probably have added a few more restaurants in a few more Provinces and States. Now that we've established that Bus and Stan are real people, it's quite possible, though statistically unlikely, that you'll see one of them in one of our restaurants. Look for them at the really loud table in the corner with all of the empty red wine bottles on it. |
